Integration and Inclusion in Irish Culture - with a Focus on Communication.
The course is designed to help international staff understand Irish culture, improve communication, and feel more confident in their roles. By building cultural awareness and empathy, it enables staff to connect more effectively with residents and colleagues—ultimately leading to better, more person-centred care and creating a more inclusive and cohesive care environment. The aim is to foster deeper cultural awareness, empathy, and effective communication, ultimately enhancing the quality of care provided to Irish native residents. This programme not only seeks to integrate international staff into Irish culture, but also aims to break down barriers in communication and understanding—creating opportunities for staff to feel included, share their own cultural backgrounds, and build genuine, meaningful connections, ultimately facilitating a more inclusive environment for all.
