This course provides a comprehensive overview of Medication Management incorporating the 10 'Rights' of Medication Management that are outlined by NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) and includes best practice in double checking medications, monitoring, documentation and storage. It explores the concept of 'witholding medication' self administration and medication errors. It emphasises the importance of patient education in ensuring adherance to Medication Regime. It provides a framework within which nurses can practice safely and effectively in the area of Medication Administration
